a consecrated Roman church. We require at least
a month (but prefer two months) to prepare all
the paperwork.
If one of us
is protestant can I still have a Catholic wedding?
Yes, as long as you attend the required pre-marital
classes and have the paperwork approved by the
priest in Italy.
Can I
marry again with a religious ceremony if I am
divorced?
No, you can’t. A divorce will not allow
you to marry again in a Catholic Church unless
your previous wedding has been annulled by the
Catholic Church of your country. However, you
can have a civil ceremony.

is the best time of the year to get married
in Italy?
Weddings are celebrated all year round, however
the best time is from March to October even
if August might be too hot. High season goes
from May to September. But the weather in Italy
is quite pleasant also during winter time, in
fact, you can still have nice, warm and sunny
days for instance in December
